Running Programs The Nova Light 1 comes with a pre-installed paint application. Now to run this application, behind the controls (stone pressure plates surrounding a stone slab) there are two buttons, labeled "Start" and "Stop". They are both self explanatory. One starts the application, the other ends it.

Creating Applications Creating applications for the Nova Light 1 is simple. Every row is one line. Every line is indexed as a zero-based number for goto and if-goto statements. The black and white column is the "registers", it tells the computer what your trying to tell it. There are signs with what each one does. The next 3 columns are binary (backwards) values. Sometimes they load from data storage (or ram, indexed A-Z). Sometimes they are used as values. These values are indexed as values A-C. The chart below states what every register does.
